RETREAT DETAILS


What To Expect On The Day
(timings may be subject to slight change)

The Morning:
Awakening Practice - 10.30am-12.30pm
After a warm welcome, the day will start with pranayama (breath work ) & a short meditation, before moving through an energising and awakening Yoga practice. We will move around the mat in a dynamic slow flowing sequence, leaving you feeling revitalised!

 

The Afternoon:
Lunch - 12.30-1.30pm 
Lunch will be in the light and airy Mansion dining room; our own private dining area within the mansion house and will include a buffet style, light vegetarian 2 course meal, prepared by the Mansion Cafe, made with produce sourced from local and sustainable suppliers.

Walking Meditation - 1.40 -2.00pm
After lunch, we invite you to join us for a guided silent walk within the stunning grounds of Beckenham place Park, This is an opportunity to take in some fresh air and connect with nature. Return from your walk refreshed and invigorated. Or, of course you are welcome to take this time for yourself.

Grounding Practice - 2.10-3.00pm
The first class of the afternoon will be a calming and grounding Yin style yoga practice.  Through floor based Yoga postures we will work in unison with the breath and the full support of the earth beneath us to move away from tension and into stillness. This session will also include some guided self massage.

Restorative Practice & Yoga Nidra: 3.10-4.00pm
This is now the time for deep rest and relaxation,  Slowing our practice down to include just a few selected Yoga postures supported by props, we are able to fully release, open up and let go. This wonderful restorative practice will finish with Yoga Nidra (a deep guided relaxation) 

Light Refreshments & Goodbyes: 4.00-4.30pm
We will end the day with light refreshments (herbal/fruit teas/snacks) before saying our goodbyes.
